Privacy Policy

B17 bomber is an arcade style game. This document is to provide you with an understanding of what data we collect and how we use it.

Collection and Use of Data

While our goal is to keep as little data as possible, we do collect some information to help us improve our application and service. In this section, we outline the different types of data we collect and explain why it is important to us and how we use it.

    B17 Bomber uses Google Analytics for Firebase, the type of information collected includes:
    • Number of users and sessions
    • Session duration
    • Operating systems
    • Device models
    • Geography
    • First launches
    • App opens
    • App page views
    • App crashes and crash information
    • App updates
    • In-app purchases
  • performance monitoring

    B17 Bomber uses Firebase performance monitoring, the type of information collected includes:

    • General device information, such as model, OS, and orientation
    • RAM and disk size
    • CPU usage
    • Carrier (based on Mobile Country and Network Code)
    • Radio/Network information (for example, WiFi, LTE, 3G)
    • Country (based on IP address)
    • Locale/language
    • App version
    • App foreground or background state
    • App package name
    • An pseudonymous app-instance identifier
    • Network URLs (not including URL parameters or payload content) and the following corresponding information:
    • Response codes (for example, 403, 200)
    • Payload size in bytes
    • Response times
    • Duration times for automated traces.
  • Apple CloudKit Database

    If you choose to sign in with your Apple account, we store summary game information in your private database. Any of your game scores that are withing the top 100 of the community high score leader board will also be stored in a public database and shared on the application leader board screen to any other users that login. We store your name, game score and some basic statistics about the game (levels complete, number of hits, hit ratio, etc.).

  • How much you use the app

    We count and store the dates on which you first started using and last opened the application along with the number of times you open the app and the total time you have used the application. We also store the identifier for vendor value, which is a unique identifying alpha/numeric string provided by Apple for each user of our application. We use the unique identifier to aggregate information to represent a single user in the case of having the application installed across multiple devices. In general, we collect this information to learn how much our app is being used and to measure changes in engagement.

  • Your encounters with upgrade offers

    We store what upgrade offers you are given, how often you see them, for how long you see them and what option you chose. We collect this data to better understand how our users react to upgrade offers and how we can modify the offers to improve our service from both a business' and a user's point of view.

  • Your app settings and feedback

    We may store some of your app settings (if applicable), your settings preferences, what upgrades you have purchased. We also store some predefined settings such as the maximum allowed number of transactions and upgrade trial length (if applicable). If you provide any feedback through the app, website or email, we store the information you submit. This information is necessary for the app to function and we store it to better understand how the service is being used. We may also perform periodic questionairres on potential new features, purchase options, etc. and will store your respeonses to these questions.

  • Some technical information

    We collect what operative system your device uses (e.g. iOS,) what version of operative system your device uses (e.g. 10.3.0,) what model your device is (e.g. iPhone 11,) how much free storage space your device has, and what version of the app you use. We use this information to know the technical capabilities and limitations of our users so that we can make the app work for as many users as possible.

  • Personally identifiable information (PII)

    Unless you have created an account with your email address, we do not store any personally identifiable information about you. If you have created an account, we store your email address so that we can contact you. By logging in with your Apple account, the only personal information we store is your name.

Sharing of Data

We will only share any personal data when it is necessary for the service to function, when it is legally required, or when you give us your permission. For the service to function, the collected data will be provided to different hosting and database services. If the ownership of the service were to change, your information may be transferred to the new owner to keep offering the service. In any such transfer of data, your personal information would remain subject to this section.

Retention of Data

We will retain your data for the purposes stated in this document. Any personally identifiable information (e.g. your email address) will be retained until you delete your account or you request we delete it. Anonymous data collected through the app may be retained beyond that.

Your Rights

You have the following rights in relation to the personal data we hold about you, unless provided otherwise by local law.

  • To request access to, or erasure of, the personal data we hold about you.
  • To request us to restrict the processing of the personal data we hold about you.
  • To object to us processing personal data relating to you.
  • Where you have given us consent to process your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.
  • To export the personal data we have collected about you in a format that can be transferred electronically to a third party.
  • To delete your account.

For any requests, please contact us at data@B17 Bomber.com. In order to confirm your identity, we may need additional information from you to handle your request. Upon receiving a request, we may take up to 30 days to process it. If additional time is needed, we will inform you.

Security

We have taken administrative and technical measures we believe are sufficient to protect the data we store. We do however acknowledge the risk that a determined attacker could defeat our security systems and gain access to the data we seek to protect, thus we can never guarantee its absolute security.
